Cookie Policy

1. What cookies and browser storage are

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to keep, and that the browser sends back to the site on later requests. Browser storage (local storage) also keeps small pieces of information on your device, but does not send them to us with every request. This policy calls both “cookies and similar technologies”.

Every item above is strictly necessary for something you asked the website to do, and is set by us (first-party). None is used for advertising or to build a profile of you. The three cookies are HTTP-only, so scripts running on the page cannot read them; they are SameSite=Lax, and on the live website they are Secure, which means they travel only over HTTPS.

Our own staff use a separate sign-in cookie in the administration area. It is never set for customers.

3. What we do not use

This website sets no advertising or retargeting cookies, runs no third-party analytics, and includes no social-media tracking pixels. Its fonts are served from our own server, not fetched from Google’s when you visit. If we ever add analytics or marketing cookies, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires, ask for your consent before setting them.

4. Cookies from other companies

Sample profiles. The homepage and the “Live demo” pages show pictures of sample profiles, which set no cookies. When you choose “Try it live”, or open a sample in a new tab, the real sample page is loaded from our own platform — the one that hosts customers’ Smart Profiles. That sets two strictly necessary cookies on that platform’s address, a session cookie and an anti-forgery token, each lasting two hours, which make the sample’s forms work. The visit is recorded (device type, browser, language and approximate location) as it is for any profile. Anything you type into a sample is discarded, not kept.

When you use a feature run by another company, that company may set its own cookies, on its own pages or in its own window. For example: Google or LinkedIn when you sign in with them; and Razorpay when you pay — its payment window loads from checkout.razorpay.com and may use cookies and device information for security and fraud prevention. Links to WhatsApp and to social networks also take you to their sites. We do not control these cookies; please read those companies’ own policies.

A Smart Profile published by one of our customers may include links or embedded content that the customer has chosen, which we do not control.

5. Your choices

You can delete or block cookies and clear local storage in your browser’s settings (look for “cookies and site data” or “clear browsing data”). Signing out removes your session cookie and the details we remembered for checkout.

If you block the cookies above, you will not be able to sign in, the order you have just placed may not open after checkout, and your basket and builder choices may not be remembered.

Because we do not track you across websites, browser signals such as “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control need no special handling: there is nothing further to switch off.

6. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the cookies and storage we use change. The date at the top shows the latest version. See also our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information.
